Pastels in Winter…faux pas?

Now we all know that we associate pastels to the Spring season but is it ok to wear pastel in the colder season? Spring brings the flowers, Spring brings more sun and Spring brings light pretty colors that guides us to the Summer season but…

Lately Ive been attracted to to all the pink, blue pastels that are in stores these days. Im so drawn to it! Though its winter and there is snow in Calgary, I cant resist all the soft colors. We all heard the saying “ dont wear white after labor day” but is it ok to wear light colors at all?

The answer…well the answer to me is yes, of course its ok to wear pastels in Winter! I am firm believer of wearing things you like whenver you like! Some people might not feel that light colors are practical in Winter since you are walking through half melted snow all day however being practical has nothing do do with colors. Being practical has everything to do with whats best for you and your personal style… if you like it, then you wear it :) Stay true to your style but always make fashion fun!
